1. So I slept on Sounds of vinyl and the past when it was released shame on me REALLY. I finally got to give it a thorough listen during the preparation of this blocSonic re-release and it truly caught me off guard. Sure, it’s an experimental format and the music is wild and crazy, but this is The Scallions.

2. The Scallions have been together for nearly 20 years and therefore have a wealth of unreleased material to choose from. The older tracks were remixed, reshaped, overdubbed and interspersed throughout the album. Sounds of Vinyl and the Past is an instrumental LP.

6. SAX -- is this a blue/silver? I have this one and paid more. It sounds pretty decent, though I'm not sure it's worth paying $ My honest opinion. SAX -- I have and really like this one. I haven't reviewed it yet, but it's one of my more favorite SAX recordings. It's rare, has a cool cover, and sounds great, too. For $40, I'd pick.

7. K.D. Lang - Ingenue. the just released 25th anniversary 2LP vinyl reissue of the classic album. the 2nd LP has the majority of the songs sung in an MTV unplugged session. This is top class all the way. packaging is wonderful, pressings are perfect - gm and very quiet, its all been mastered by Chris Bellman and sounds sublime.
